Come & Grow With Us

Wherever you are in your faith journey, we hope you will grow with us. Whether you are interested in learning more about Jesus for the first time or diving deeper into your relationship with him, we offer many ways for you to take steps forward in your faith. Below, you will find ways you can take your next step to become more like Jesus.

BIBLE CLASSES

At Desert Hills, we believe studying the Bible is essential to growing as a follower of Jesus Christ. The Bible reveals God’s character, plan of redemption, and wisdom for our lives. That is why we offer many opportunities throughout the week for you to meet with others to study the Word of God. Studies typically pertain to a particular book in the Bible or a relevant topic for life.

For more information on Bible classes presently being offered or to register for a class, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

HOME GROUPS

Home Groups meet in an informal setting where people can learn and grow together in their faith, serve and support one another, participate in outreach projects, and build meaningful relationships with group members. Over time, group members relate to one another more as a family than a gathering of friends.

We like to go deep at Desert Hills, so our Covenant Groups provide the opportunity to worship God and share communion together apart from Sunday morning services. We also act as the hands and feet of Jesus through our covenant group activities as we serve one other and the world.

For more information or to register to host or participate in a home group, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

PODS

Pathway Of Discipleship groups (PODs) consist of 2-4 people of the same gender who regularly meet together for 60-90 minutes to study God’s word, hold one another accountable, and pray for one another. PODs utilize curricula that are designed to inspire a firm foundation in the Christian faith and to encourage members to submit to Jesus’ authority in all things, grow in obedience and Christlikeness, increase in their knowledge of God, His Word, and His teachings, and serve others in Christian love.

For more information or to join a POD, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

WOMEN’S STUDIES

We offer regular Bible studies for women at various locations and times throughout the week. Our women’s studies usually focus on a theme that helps women go deeper with God and His Word and understand how to apply scripture to their daily lives.

For more information on class offerings or to register for any of our women’s studies, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

MEN’S STUDIES

We offer two Bible studies for men that meet at the church on Wednesday mornings from 7-8am and Saturday mornings from 8-9:30am. Both men’s groups study the Scripture text(s) that will be taught during the following Sunday worship services

For more information or to register for one of the men’s studies, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

ENGAGE

Desert Hills offers a midweek Bible study to the local community that encourages participants to come out of the clutter and chaos of our world to experience the peace of meeting with God in the pages of His Word. Studies employ a verse-by-verse study approach that touches both heart and mind and cultivates not only a deeper understanding of the Bible but a greater application of God’s Word to everyday life.

For more information or to register for Engage, please contact our Adult Ministries Coordinator.

HOUSEHOLD WORSHIP

Worship is at the center of everything we do at Desert Hills. We open our doors each Sunday to welcome those who seek to worship the Lord. But for us, Sunday is just icing on the cake. We are deliberate to make space in our lives for a worship experience between Sunday services.

Beyond being the place where we seek rest and recover from daily life, home is the place where families grow together. We encourage you to consider making your home a place for family and friends to worship God, read scripture, and grow in Christian love. Desert Hills can provide guidance and materials for families that desire to worship God in the household.

For more information or resources, please contact our Household Worship Coordinator.

WALKING BESIDE MINISTRY

Our Walking Beside Ministry is based on the belief that all Christians are ministers. God has given all of us gifts for ministry and called us to serve Him. As part of the care ministries at Desert Hills, our team provides Christ’s love and care to those who seek it within our church family and community.

Our team members will walk alongside offering support, prayer, and a kind word to those in a difficult season in life who may be dealing with the death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, relocation, a difficult diagnosis, hospitalization, and other life challenges.

If you or someone you know could use Christian support and prayer, please contact our Walking Beside Ministry Coordinator.

CARE & SUPPORT GROUPS

Looking for others to walk with you and encourage you through the hard times? We have several weekday/night support groups available at our campus for people dealing with dependencies and addictions.

Desert Hills also offers a midweek grief support group to provide care and comfort during the times of death, estrangement, and abandonment.
