Troop Care Ministry

Our purpose is to provide recognize and honor veterans and active duty military and to provide troop care support from a faith-based perspective to the community, Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, and Leupp Presbyterian Church.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God’s immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever!

Ecumenical Chaplaincy for the Homeless

The Chaplaincy for the Homeless is located on the campus of the Lodestar Day Resource Center, known as “The Zone: in downtown Phoenix. This area, The Chaplaincy works with men and women who come to that area for resources.
In addition to financial support, DHPC provides hygiene kits which are distributed from the chaplain’s office. Travel sized shampoo, conditioner, lotions, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste are needed throughout the year.

Foothills Food Bank

The Foothills Food Bank provides food boxes and other grocery items to hungry people in our community.

DHPC collects food for the food bank on the first Sunday of the month. Watch the bulletin for the monthly wish list.

Foothills Caring Corps

Foothills Caring Corps is very active in the Carefree/Cave Creek community providing services for seniors. Transportation to medical appointments, medical equipment, social activities and meals are just a few of the services provided.

Sister Churches

Leupp
Since 1980, DHPC has developed a unique friendship and strong Christian bond with a sister church in the Navajo Nation. We share our faith and heritage through local visits, worship and international mission activities.

United Church of Jamaica & the Cayman Islands
Through the Spirit of the Lord, a powerful connection and sister church relationship has developed with United Ebenezer Church in Mandeville Parish, Jamaica. We have participated together in evangelical outreach in schools, prisons, retirement homes as well as evening street ministry.
