Ecumenical Chaplaincy for the Homeless

The Chaplaincy for the Homeless is located on the campus of the Lodestar Day Resource Center in downtown Phoenix. This area, known as “The Zone” is the place in our city where homeless men and women come for services. The Chaplaincy works to help the homeless obtain identification documents, often a first step to getting a job and ending the cycle of homelessness.

In addition to financial support, DHPC provides hygiene kits which are distributed from the chaplain’s office. Travel sized shampoo, conditioner, lotions, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste are needed throughout the year.
